Getting one of your tracks on the radio in 2026 isn't a given... We know thousands of artists hit the BBC upload portal every single week, so we’re under no illusions about how hard it is to actually get noticed. For any up-and-coming artists, in a market this crowded, getting a standalone play on your regional show is a massive result and it’s one don't take for granted and that we properly appreciate!

A Shift in Sound
We’re always looking for projects that will let us switch gears and experiment with our sound. This remix was the perfect chance to do just that. We’ve taken this one into proper Speed Garage territory (135bpm) but kept those heavy Bass House influences at the core - rather than the other way around. For us, it’s always about trying new things to make a project our own and pushing into that crossover space felt like the right move for this one. We have a stack of new original material and collabs coming so if you're new here, stick around, bookmark our page, send it to others who might be into it AND chuck us a follow on socials! Road Testing Works In Progress & Forthcoming Releases!
If you’ve been following our socials or caught our sets recently at Off The Grid, Koolwaters or RUBBADUBDUB, then you’ve already heard this one rattling the bassbins. It also featured as the closer in our 10-minute MiniMix that James Threlfall asked us to do for BBC Introducing recently - a "100% Producer Mix" where we played it essentially in full.... But tonight marks the Official Standalone Play.
Hearing it as a featured record in its own right on the show, outside of the mix transitions, is the real test. It’s had the airplay within the mix and on the dancefloor, but now it’s time to see how it stands up as a singular release.
The Remix Package: Sharing the Bill with Legends
The timing is spot on, as the full Remix Package for ‘Rub Ah Dub’ drops on all platforms tomorrow! YES, TOMORROW. Friday May 1st! We’re sharing the release with some proper legends who have been shaping the UK scene for years!!

Booker T: An undisputed icon of House and Garage.
Dancing Divaz: True remix legends.
Blandy (Ian Bland): The mastermind behind Dream Frequency.
HERATIKS: Our Speed Garage/Bass House crossover.
Sharing a release with names of that caliber is a massive honor, and we’re grateful to the Charlie Big team for the opportunity to put the HERATIKS stamp on it.

A packed Remix Package!

HERATIKS' last release  - an Official Remix of the 90s classic 'Read My Lips' from Alex Party was supported by Jaguar on BBC Radio 1 & Radio 1 Dance Introducing.

The National Aim
We know how the system works and how saturated the market is. Our last rework, ‘Read My Lips', ended up being picked up by Jaguar on BBC Radio 1 and Radio 1 Dance, which was a massive moment for us. We’d obviously love to see ‘Rub Ah Dub’ follow that same path, but we understand the national teams get sent hundreds of tracks a week. Whether it goes national or stays regional, we fully appreciate the support we’re getting from every corner of the globe.
Massive thanks to James and the BBC crew for the support. And also a special thank you to Alison Limmerick ("Where Loves Lives" fame!) for the support too!!  Tune in tonight, catch the vibe on Saturday, and if you see us in person or on socials, wish us all the best for the release tomorrow.

Support the Release!!
The remix is available now for Pre-Order and Pre-Save here: 👉 https://xelon.ffm.to/radrmx
If you want to support the release, pre-saving it actually helps us out massively. It signals to the Spotify and Apple Music algorithms that the track already has momentum, which makes it much more likely to be added to official playlists right out of the gate. It costs you nothing, but it makes a huge difference to the reach of the tune.
Similarly, if you’re a DJ picking this up on Beatport or Traxsource, grabbing the pre-sale helps the track enter the charts much faster once it officially drops.
We fully appreciate every bit of support we’re getting from every corner of the globe. Massive thanks to James and the BBC crew for the support. Tune in tonight, catch the vibe on Saturday, and we’ll see you for the full release tomorrow.
