The "Spammy" Link that Opened the Door
It all started when Justin replied to a message on insta from Jaguar (the voice of BBC Radio 1 Dance) .
"I was sat with my daughter in the car and had a message ping through on insta from Jaguar - who we follow - saying she was moving across to the Vault and that you can find all her events and music links there... To be honest, the link looked a bit spammy so I replied to her DM. My daughter was like, she's never going to reply, especially if she has been hacked.... but she did! Jaguar messaged back immediately, confirming it was legit and we got chatting. She was miffed that despite having thousands of followers, the usual social algorithms were only showing her posts to a tiny percentage of them. She wanted a direct way to reach her people."
That quick "human" moment turned into a conversation about what we’ve been cooking in the studio.
Justin continues....
"Jaguar said the best way was to use the BBC Introducing Uploader - essentially being nice but fobbing us off I think - she must get literally thousands of tunes a week sent to her so you can forgive her to be honest.... but not being one to be deterred, I replied that we had already had support from the legend James Threlfall on BBC Introducing The West on our debut 'Drop Tha Spot' last year and 'Read My Lips' Remix last month and that the tracks were in the BBC System to which she replied to send her a link!!! I couldn't believe it! She had asked me to send it to her to listen to!
Supremely confident in our music, I then sent an insta link to it so she could hear it. She said it sounds great and she'd put it forward! I told James and he was like 'that's mad. Great work!' ....and then we forgot about it and thought nothing more of it"
On 6th Feb the 2026 remixes of 'Read My Lips' was released, on February 12th we were telling Jaguar about it and just eight days later, on February 20th, we were tuning in to hear her drop it live. BUZZIN' doesn't even cover it!!
Why the Jaguar Co-Sign is a Game Changer
Getting support from Jaguar on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Introducing Dance isn't just a "play" - it’s a stamp of approval from the UK’s premier electronic tastemaker. Jaguar is the engine behind the careers of absolute powerhouses like Nia Archives, Eliza Rose, TSHA, and Barry Can't Swim. She finds the sounds that define the next five years of dance music. Seeing HERATIKS (pronounced exactly like 'heretics', for the record!) championed by her puts us on the direct path to the BBC Introducing stages at festivals like Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, and Creamfields.
"BIG ONE!! Sounding SO good!!"

Legend Status: The Wideboys & Kisstory
While Radio 1 is handling the "future" sounds, we’ve also secured backing from the legends who built the scene. The Wideboys - the geniuses behind UKG anthems like ‘Sambuca’ and ‘Daddy O’—have been giving the remix heavy rotation on Kisstory.Their support is vital because it proves our sound has that rare "crossover" appeal. It works for the underground heads and the mainstream crowds alike. When the guys who remixed Rihanna and Taio Cruz are spinning your track, you know you’ve hit the sweet spot.
The Global Takeover: From Tomorrowland to Brazil & US Billboard
The HERATIKS bass house energy is officially a global movement. We aren’t just making waves in the UK anymore; the "Read My Lips" remix is being championed by international tastemakers across three continents.
The US Seal of Approval: We’ve caught the ear of Ron Slomowicz, the legendary US Billboard 100 reporter, DJ, and editor. Ron is a kingmaker in the American market, and he gave the remix a perfect 5/5 rating. Getting that "seal of approval" is the ultimate green light for the US Billboard Dance charts and proves our sound translates perfectly to the massive club circuit across the pond.
Tomorrowland Buzz with Stephani B: As she lands in Belgium to take the stage at Tomorrowland—one of the biggest festivals on the planet - the incredible Stephani B has thrown her weight behind the track, calling the remix "Awesome!". To have an artist of her caliber, playing on the world’s most prestigious stages, backing our production is a huge moment for us.
South American Heat with MING: The fire has spread to South America, with Brazilian heavyweight MING giving the remix top-tier support. His verdict? "Scratches an itch we didn't even know we had... really top notch." Having a producer of his stature championing the track in the Brazilian scene shows just how far this sound is reaching.
From the airwaves of BBC Radio 1 to the main stages of Tomorrowland and the clubs of Brazil, the data is undeniable: HERATIKS are a global sound.
Promoters: The Data is In
We aren't just "rising stars" anymore; the data and the industry support are undeniable. From Global FM to US Billboard, and from Jaguar’s Radio 1 Dance deck to The Wideboys’ Kisstory slots, the gatekeepers have spoken.
HERATIKS are ready for the big stages. We are looking to translate this massive radio momentum into festival lineups and club dates for 2026. If you want a duo that is being backed by the best in the business to take the roof off your event, you know who to call.
