Debut Track ‘Drop Tha Spot’ signed to dt weapons!
This one’s been brewing for a while. After Grahame Farmer and Loz Seka gave the track its first spin live on the Data Transmission YouTube livestream, it was met with an instant Rave Horn approval — a moment that genuinely blew us away. Their live reaction, feedback, and support gave us the extra push we needed.
They offered a couple of suggestions to tweak and we didn’t waste any time! The next day, we were back in the studio, making the changes before sending it back to their A&R team.
Shortly after, we received an email from Grahame Farmer:
“Is ‘Drop Tha Spot’ still available?”
Although we’d had a few offers from smaller and some up-and-coming labels, we’d been holding out hope. After following Grahame for a while, Data Transmission had always been the one we were aiming for - not just because of the name, but because of the real belief Grahame and Loz showed in the track.
Now that it’s official, we’re working on delivering both the radio edit and extended mix to the label. This release marks a big moment for us - not only as Heratiks, but as a creative partnership that’s been evolving behind the scenes for a long time.
We’re hyped for what’s ahead both with DT Weapons and Data Transmission for the release and for more music we're constantly working on and we have a meeting to chat about a music video for "Drop Tha Spot" soon which will be fun!
