After a highly “eventful” journey into London (if you know, you know…), we linked up with our good mate Oli in Richmond. The plan was simple: get in early and grab some food before heading to Ministry of Sound. Of course, plans and HERATIKS don’t always line up…

Sam from Doom Media was with us again after Cornwall, with permission to shoot stills and video inside Ministry (massive shout to Ryan and Ada for sorting that out). Once at Oli's in Richamond we got changed, cracked open a beer and jumped into Rekordbox to tweak the playlist, adding in some new edits of tracks we’d been working on the night before along with a couple of fresh IDs from Data Transmission’s exclusive promo list along with a couple other tracks we had ben sent from other artists. Playing exclusives is always a buzz, playing out to a crowd is awesome, but nothing beats the feeling when people Shazam one of your unreleased tracks and come ask what it is. Being able to say “it’s not out yet” or "it's one we're working on, what do you reckon?" is great feedback to be honest!
From Richmond we jumped on the tube at Kew Gardens (have you seen that station? Straight out of a Disney film) and headed into the city. Quick pit stop at BrewDog Waterloo for another beer but food was off the cards thanks to the chaos earlier in the day. Let’s just say, one day, when we’re rich and famous, maybe the story comes out… until then, if you want to know, just ask us when you see us.

Leaving Waterloo, we walked past the graffiti-covered arches of the Leake Street Graffiti Tunnels which instantly screamed PROMO SHOTS!!!!
This 300-meter-long tunnel runs beneath Waterloo Station and has become London's most extensive legal graffiti platform and we had stumbled upon it completely unknowingly but having not 1, not 2, but 3 creatives seeing it all at the same time, for the first time.... it HAD to be done!! What began life as a road under the tracks evolved into a central hub for street art.
Truly democratic in nature, Leake Street welcomes both professional and amateur artists to leave their mark. No permits required, just grab some spray paint and go — knowing you might get painted over by someone else next week (South Bank LondonSecret Londonlondonology.co.uk ).  The tunnel is accessible 24 hours a day and free to visit if you're ever in the area!
We grabbed a couple of super rushed shots and then it was straight into an Uber to Ministry!
Trying to get serious photos of us just isn't a thing really. You might get ONE chance.... especially when we were THIS excited!
After getting aquatinted with the VIP and Greenroom, having a look around the other rooms and being on stage in the main room and then meeting and chatting with lots of new people, it was our turn!

HERATIKS in the iconic 103 at Ministry of Sound.
Everything's ben upgraded in there pretty recently and the sound system and lighting is so good. The lighting rig literally moves up and down. Wild!   “Drop Tha Spot” hit like a hammer, but the one that shook the place was our new (unsigned) one “Phat Bass.”  which sounded absolutely ridiculous in there!

We brought our new friend Prevgreco up to mix a couple of tracks too to give him the chance to get those iconic shots behind the decks at Ministry also. We’ve had some good fortune our way recently, so passing a bit of that on just felt right. We are BIG believers in karma and "what goes around comes back around” vibe.

After the set, we ended up doing more networking with a heap of other DJ's including the awesome Issy Smith who's a resident at Ibiza Rocks.
Big love to Sam Supplier and Ryan at Future X Citizens for the opportunity. Having Sam already support our music and playing “Drop Tha Spot” on his show and call it “banging” gave us the fire we needed when stepping into Ministry’s 103!

For now? We’re just buzzing. Ministry was one of those bucket list moments you don’t forget. But trust us, this is only the start.
