The Crown Walk area that this iconic venue sits in is being redeveloped....but before the lights go out one last time, we are heading back to where it all began for the final ever RUBBADUBDUB!

If you were there back in the day, you already know. Founded in 2009 by La Luka & Krausey during the initial UK dubstep explosion, RUBBADUBDUB became one of the biggest bass music events in the South West with regular 6 week events across two floors and party people coming from as far as the Midlands, London and Cornwall for the events with queues down the highstreet from 9pm!

For Krausey, who was instrumental in creating the brand and pushing the UK bass sound internationally, this closing party is a deeply personal hometown return where you can catch us dropping a heavier than normal set but with Krausey also going back to his roots, going b2b with Rad with Vipzz on the mic for some wild original dubstep mixed with some new 140 vibes!

What to Expect on the Night
We are bringing serious energy to the Element Soundsystem.  Riding high off the back of our recent 10-minute mini mix for BBC Introducing, radio support from Jaguar across Radio 1 and R1Dance and on Kisstory with The Wideboys with our official remix of the 90s classic ‘Read My Lips’ which smashed into the Beatport Bass House New Release Top 10 and Official Music Week Top 20, we are ready to take the roof off. Expect a heavy, high-octane HERATIKS set leaning right into the bass house and speed garage end of the spectrum.  But that’s not all. For the day-one dubstep heads, Krausey will also be doing a special reunion set alongside B.Rad and Vipzz (Radicalvipzz). They are stepping back up to the decks to deliver a massive, nostalgic session of classic dubstep and 140 belters to take the venue right back to its golden era.

One Last Dance for a Good Cause
This isn't just about sending off a legendary venue; it’s about securing the future of the local scene. Proceeds from this event will go towards raising funds for a NEW independent venue in Taunton.
The lineup is absolutely stacked with OGs who shaped the last 17 years of RUBBADUBDUB, including 4Sight, Hit The Road Jack (Mammoth Sound), Flashtafari (Irie HiFi), Ordinary Joe, and CJ.

The buzz has been HUGE on this...its not only the last event at 61, but the last event is a RUBBADUBDUB, something the owner said he really wanted having attended the events before he took over the venue!
Come join us for one last session and one last dance.
