From Down The Rabbit Hole to "this has got to be a Scam" to Reality
We've teased we have a collaboration on the way with someone who's rinsed 2025 and we've got a couple more original tracks that are in the works, that have gone off in sets from London to the Southwest since August such as 'Hands Up High', 'Phat Bass' and a couple others we've dropped on from the river Thames and the sold out ECHO Boat party's 26th Birthday/Halloween event to Tech This Out at The Mezzanine in Tooting. No genre constraints. No templates. Just purely making music we want to make for us - making what we want because we want to.
...And then totally out of the blue, an opportunity came knocking. One that, initially we thought must be some kind of scam... An opportunity so unconventional for a duo, who's only been doing this for just over a year, to be approached for... To be on a release package for something quite iconic. Quite frankly, it's mind blowing. And it came about due to posting on socials (so yes, it does work). They saw something we had done posted on someone else's post and followed the rabbit hole to see how deep it went...
Red Rag to a Bull
They heard our debut original, 'Drop tha Spot' and got in touch with the request: "More of this but MORE!"
Initially, we thought it was a wind-up. When you’ve only been doing this for just over a year, you don't expect an invitation to be part of a release package for something that could be iconic. It looked too good to be true, the kind of message you almost delete because it feels like a scam but when the stems landed in our inbox it started to feel real.
Turns out, the work we’ve been putting out on socials actually landed where it needed to. They followed the trail back to 'Drop tha Spot' and they wanted more of that energy. The brief was specific: Do more. Go harder. Bring the hype. ....say less...we've got this!
The Reveal is Coming
Giving us a directive like "go harder" is a red rag to a bull. You don’t have to tell us twice. We’ve stripped away the industry templates and ignored the genre rules and have produced a hybrid...a techy, bassy booty shakin', swinging hat wearing Frankenstein of a track. Exactly what was asked for, but on our own terms.
This is pure, independent output that we’ve pushed to the absolute limit!
Once we had it in a position we were bouncing to, we pinged a teaser over to the producer who asked us to the remix. We called saying we had sent it him and wanted to hear his live reaction...but he said he wanted to listen and then call us back. Ten LONG minutes passed and he calls us back saying he had listened to it 4 times and loved it!
Time to sprinkle some more HERATIKS magic on it and get this bad boy wrapped and then have a Christmas beer!! HYPED!!!!
The noise is about to get a lot louder.

As our soon to be manager who hasn't heard the remix yet said:
"That's a pretty iconic track. I do hope you have done it justice because everyone will have something to say about it if not but it could be great to excel your names and get you more gigs!"
We can't name the project yet. We can't tell you who else is on the package. But we can tell you that for a duo just twelve months in, this is a massive moment. We’ve got this. And soon, you’ll hear exactly what happens when you tell us to turn it up. Stay locked.
