The response has been absolutely wild, and we wanted to take a moment to say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported it. Our parent label, Data Transmission, summed it up perfectly on their socials:
"BIG SUPPORT! The HERATIKS lads have smashed it with 'Drop Tha Spot' which is out now on DT Weapons. Big support from some heavy hitters, which is always lovely to see, big shouts to you all. Massive thanks to everyone who's been showing support on this one." Data Transmission
And the support truly has come from some heavy hitters. To see our debut track being played globally, from California to the summer season in Ibiza to Australia's Kiss FM Dance, has been surreal. A huge shout out to some of the legends who have shown love for the track, including Fatboy Slim, Mark Knight, Claude von Stroke, Joris Voorn, Matthias Tanzmann, Nic Fanciulli, Joseph Capriati, Paco Osuna, Denis Cruz, AC Slater, Steve Bug, Sasha Robotti, Tini Gessler and many more!

We were also blown away to see the track synced by Pete Tong's A&R and downloaded by tastemakers like techno god Ritchie Hawtin and garage legends such as Grant Nelson who simply commented "Dutty" on our inflyte, which is a massive nod from inside the industry, showing 'Drop Tha Spot' transcends genre borders!
"Very Cool"
AC Slater (Night Bass)

"Great energy here. Will test it out."
Steve Bug (Poker Flat Recordings & Sublease Music)
Alongside the club support, the track has been getting national airplay, with plays on BBC Introducing and continued rotation on Data Transmission Radio, which has been amazing for spreading the sound. All of this momentum translated into a fantastic chart performance.

Upon its release, 'Drop Tha Spot' went straight into the official Traxsource Tech House Charts, climbing all the way to a peak of #23. To see it continuing to go up and down the Top 100 weeks later is a fantastic feeling for a debut release! According to Songstats, 'Drop Tha Spot' is also in the Dance Charts in South Africa!
"Awesome tune! Will be playing on Machine Grooves w Austin X Machine, Kiss FM Australia"
Austin X Machine

Taking this energy to our live shows has been the best part. We've been bringing our brand of booty shakin' tech and bass house to crowds across the Southwest and London – from beach parties and terraces in Cornwall and Exeter right up to the iconic Ministry of Sound in London last month. The feeling of dropping our own tracks (including unreleased ones were working on) and seeing them connect with the dancefloor is why we do this!
What's next?
We've been busy in the studio, fired up by all the support and we're currently working on a whole new batch of music that we are so excited to get out to some labels. And on the gig front, we can't wait for the legendary ECHO Boat Party on the Thames at the end of October! ONWARDS! 🚀
